Determined nasturtiums

I'm struck by the brash florescence of these nasturtiums, quite photogenic, and with how they snuck in using the thornless boysenberry bush as one giant lattice. If I didn't weed my garden plot not one bit, I would simply have one giant mound of nasturtiums reaching up to the sky.
PS Why I have the word thornless highlighted in yellow above is beyond me.

  1. That's a nice color combination. Pink and golden yellow play so well together.

I have a hard time growing nasturtiums here. You have to be vigilant about watering the seeds as the soil dries out too quickly otherwise

  2. Hi Susan, thanks for dropping by! I guess I have enough wet microclimate areas in my garden to grow nasturtiums, they seem to pop up from in between the dark places.
